You all want the same thing. So why does it keep ending in an argument about whose approach is right?

Different childhoods. Different instincts. Different temperaments. One of you sees defiance, another sees overwhelm — and that gap can lead to tension in your relationship. This session is about why that gap opens up between people who care about the same things, how to talk it through without escalating, and how to build a shared approach that actually holds.

Is a steadier home possible?

Why focusing on 'staying calm' is not enough.

You've read the books. You understand co-regulation. You're trying to stay calm, to connect before you correct, to follow all the advice. And it's still hard.

This session is about what's missing from that picture — and what changes when you start looking at the whole family, not just the moment.

What this session covers

Most of us are good at fighting fires. This session helps you find the firestarter.

(And I don't mean your kid.)

Regulation — staying calm, co-regulating, connecting before correcting — is fighting the fire. It matters. But for many families it still isn't enough, because if the advice stops there, we never get to understanding what's causing the fires or how often they're being lit.

In this session we look upstream: at your family as a system, the culture you're living inside, and the environment that's either working for you or against you. When those shift, everything shifts.

The family as a system

What happens in one part of the family affects every other part. Most parenting advice treats each moment in isolation — this session shows you how to see the whole.

Your Environment

The conditions your family lives inside — routines, rhythms, and physical space — shape behaviour more than most parents realise. And they can be changed.

Your Culture

How you show up, how you communicate, the signals you send, and the tone you set have more influence on your home than any strategy you apply in the moment.

This session includes a live Q&A. You'll be able to get clarification and help on your particular situation by submitting questions directly to Joe.

More capacity, more clarity, more composure. A steadier home is possible.

You love your children fiercely but wonder if things can actually be different
You're any kind of parent or caregiver — dads, mums, grandparents, foster parents
What parents say
"I felt lost and overwhelmed after my child's autism diagnosis, just surviving parenting rather than enjoying it. Joe gave me practical tools and a completely non-judgmental space, which helped me rebuild my confidence and genuinely transform my relationship with my children." — A parent
