Different needs. Different upbringings. Different ways of seeing the same moment.
If one of your greatest sources of strain at home is the way you and your partner parent differently — and how you communicate about that — this course is for you.
Four weeks to build a consistent approach, so you and your child both know what to expect — and to start pulling together as one, feeling supported instead of second-guessed.

You find yourself arguing with your partner because you disagree on how to respond to your child's behaviour.
You're tired of playing good cop, bad cop.
You wish your partner could better understand your parenting approach and style.
You're divided on what boundaries and discipline "should" look like in your home.
Parenting disagreements are a particular pressure point — one of the most common you'll find in any home, and one of the ones that makes the biggest difference to overall strain once it starts to go better.
The aim isn't to think identically — you'll always have different needs, different upbringings, different instincts. It's about pulling together as one, so you feel supported rather than second-guessed, and your child grows up with a consistent approach they can rely on.
This isn't a space to air your dirty laundry or list what your partner's doing wrong in front of the group. It works because you're both in the room, both being heard — not because one of you is on trial. If you're not looking to actually understand each other, this probably won't be the right fit.
If you've previously joined Joe's Getting on the Same Page free workshop, this is where that work continues.
Four sessions to help you and your partner respond to your child as a team — worked through together as a group.
If you disagree on the problem, you'll offer different solutions. Sometimes the way we interpret our child's behaviour says more about our own instincts and experiences than it does about them — and starting from curiosity instead of interpretation changes everything.
Nonviolent communication is at the heart of this week — not to make things sound softer, but to actually de-escalate. Swapping blame and judgement for what you're really feeling and needing changes the whole conversation, with your partner and with your kids. You'll leave with a practical way to have the hard conversations without them turning into a fight — and without losing yourself in the process.
Sometimes we use the same words but mean different things. Consequences and punishment are often used interchangeably, but teased apart, they can offer some refreshing approaches to navigating challenging behaviour.
What do you want your responses — individually and together — to look like? How can you support one another to show up as you'd like, rather than in reactivity?
No application process — sign up and you're in.
Individuals and couples both welcome — it's £149 either way, one payment covers your place whether you join solo or bring your partner.
